The Logenhaus Ferdinand zur Glückseligkeit is a listed building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in Magdeburg's old town at Weitlingstrasse 1a on the corner of Weitlingstrasse and Julius-Bremer-Strasse.
Architecture and history
The three-storey plastered box house was built in 1902 based on a design by the architect Herz as a representative box house for the Masonic lodge Ferdinand zur Glückseligkeit . At its southwest corner there is a stair tower with a flat tail hood. The facade of the first floor is rusticated. The hall building facing Weitlingstrasse has a pilaster structure and high, large, two-part windows that are closed off in the form of lunettes . The stucco decor is designed in Baroque forms of Art Nouveau .
In 1933 the lodge was banned by the National Socialist regime . The house was sold to the city of Magdeburg and was used by the Magdeburg city library from 1934 . In 1998 the library moved to its new location on the Breite Weg.
In the local register of monuments , the building is listed under number 094 81870 as a connection house.
