The farmers of the so-called rural community Wildeshausen, with 60 inhabitants, are located about 6 km south of Wildeshaus city center on Kreisstraße  246.

Lohmühle borders to the east and south on the Wildeshauser farming communities Bühren and Aldrup , to the west and north on Kleinenkneten .

The Lohmühlenbach, which rises on the eastern edge of Hesterhöge, flows through Lohmühle in an easterly direction.
