Thölstedt is a district of the town of Wildeshausen in the Lower Saxony district of Oldenburg .
geography
The 67 inhabitants peasantry Thölstedt is 6.5 km west-southwest of the Wildeshauser city center, but less than 5 km northeast of Visbek , bordering the Visbeker peasantry Varnhorn . The farmers belong to the so-called rural community of Wildeshausen surrounding the core area . Because of its proximity to Visbek, the Thölstedter telephone connections have the Visbeker area code 04445 and not the Wildeshauser 04431. The state road 873 (Wildeshausen – Visbek) runs about half a kilometer away in the southeast . The B 213 ("Ahlhorner Straße") runs north at a distance of 3 km and the A 1 runs north-west, also 3 km away. The Aue , a tributary of the Hunte, flows 2 km away, northwest of the farmers, towards Aumühle and Dötlingen .
Culture and sights
In the area of the peasantry there is the large stone grave Große Steine near Thölstedt , also called Große Steine am Fehlenberge . It originated in the Neolithic between 3500 and 2800 BC. And is a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK).
North and west of the Thölstedt 520 extends ha large nature reserve Baeken the Endeler and Holzhauser Heide .
