Lois January
Laura Lois January (born October 5, 1913 in McAllen , Texas , † August 7, 2006 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actress .
January started dancing at an early age, took acting classes at school and then went on tour with a dance group after graduation. After that, she starred as an actress in plays at the Pasadena Playhouse and soon got a contract with Universal Pictures , where she appeared in about a dozen B-Westerns before she was loaned to Columbia . Even with Republic Pictures she was seen almost exclusively as a " love interest " in Western . For the next decade, she appeared in Broadway musicals and heard on radio shows - she had her own show as The Revelry Girl during World War II - She then found employment in numerous roles for television series.
