The local railway Chrudim-Holitz (Czech: Místní dráha Chrudimsko-Holická ) was a private railway company in today's Czech Republic . The company owned the local railways between Chrudim , Borohrádek , Heřmanův Městec and Chrast, guaranteed by the State of Bohemia .

history

On May 26, 1897, the concession to build and operate a standard-gauge local train from the Heřmann-Městec station of the privileged Austro-Hungarian state railway company via Chrudim, Hrochow-Teinitz, Morawan and Holitz to Borohradek with a branch from Hrochow-Teinitz to Chrast was granted granted. The routes were opened on September 26, 1899.

The operation was carried out by the kk Austrian State Railways (kkStB) on behalf of the Chrudim – Holitz local railway . After the First World War, the newly founded Czechoslovak State Railways ČSD took the place of the kkStB .

On January 1, 1925, the Chrudim – Holitz local railway was nationalized by law and the line was integrated into the ČSD network.

Locomotives

The kkStB procured two locomotives of the 178 series and four of the 97 series on behalf of the Chrudim – Holitz local railway . The locomotives had the road numbers 178.104-105 and 97.166-169
