Lokomotiv Tashkent ( Uzbek Lokomotiv Toshkent , Russian Локомотив Ташкент ) is a football club from the Uzbek city of Tashkent . The club currently plays in the top division of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Professional Football League . The club plays its home games in the Lokomotiv Stadium . The club was founded in 2001. Since its promotion in 2003, the club has been continuously active in the top league with a one-year break. After three runners-up championships, the first championship title was achieved in 2016, the trophy was won in 2016 as in 2014 and the Uzbek Supercup in 2015. In 2017 they won the championship and cup double again.
The club belongs to the Oʻzbekiston Temir Yoʻllari railway company .
