The FK Soʻgʻdiyona Jizzax is a football club in the Uzbek city of Jizzax . The club currently plays in the first division of Uzbekistan, the Super League . The club plays its home games in the central stadium. The club was founded in 1970. The club's only title was the 1972 Uzbek championship as Trud Jizzak in the era of the Soviet Union . In recent years the club has often shown its face as an elevator team. An ascent was usually followed by a descent. Seldom managed to hold the first division for more than a year. After rising in 2007, they finished 11th in the league in 2008. In 2009, the teams finished 16th and rose again from bottom of the table. In 2011 and 2012 you could win the PFL Cup . Since 2013 they have been playing permanently in the top division.
