Lola Paltinger (born August 12, 1972 in Mannheim ) is a German fashion designer . She lives in Munich , where she also runs her business.


Paltinger, who completed a three-month internship at Vivienne Westwood , among others , designs a spring and an autumn collection. Her specialty is her redefinition of the classic Bavarian dirndl , which often emphasizes the bust of the woman wearing it and also clearly distinguishes itself from traditional costumes. Paris Hilton , Giulia Siegel , Sarah Kern and Nina Ruge are among her customers. Since May 2007, Lola Paltinger has also been selling a collection under the name Himmelblau on the teleshopping channel HSE24 .

In October 2006 Paltinger became the mother of a son.

The unusual name Lola is not a pseudonym , her parents were inspired by the song Lola from The Kinks .
