Technical School of Electrical Engineering Lomonosov
The school was founded in September 1959 as the Technical School for Electrical Engineering Lomonossow (Technical College on Electrical Engineering). The school was founded by Marko Genchew. The building was erected in 1965.
The school's original focus was on radio and television technology and electrical machines and devices. In 1963 the school was named after Mikhail Wassiljewitsch Lomonossow .
The school has had its current name since 2000. The Lomonossow High School has been a UNESCO project school and a United Nations project school since 1982 .
Lomonosov High School
At the end of the 1999/2000 school year, the technical center on Electrical Engineering Lomonossow from 1963 was divided again. The schools received the Lomonosov high school.
The grammar school maintains a partnership with the special educational “Pestalozzi” support center in Waren (Müritz) , Germany . By 2009, the Lomonossow Gymnasium had about 10,000 students.
