The Technical University of Varna (Bulgarian: Технически Университет Варна ) - TUV for short - is a technical university in the Bulgarian city of Varna .

history

Entrance of the Technical University of Varna

In 1962 the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Electronics - Varna (Машинно-електротехнически институт - Варна) was founded and initially consisted of five faculties.

  • The electrical engineering faculty was founded in 1962. The Dean is Marinela Yordanova.
  • The electronics faculty was founded in 1990. The Dean is Rozalina Dimova.
  • The Faculty of Data Processing and Automation was founded in 1989. The Dean is Petar Antonov.
  • The Faculty of Marine and Environmental Sciences Faculties was founded in 2012. The Dean is Nikolay Minchev.
