The Varna Free University of Černorizec Hrabǎr is the largest private university in Bulgaria , based in Varna . It is located near the Golden Sands seaside resort .

history

The university was founded in 1991 and granted university status by resolution of the 37th People's Assembly on July 21, 1995. The university is a member of the network of Balkan universities .

Accreditation and certificates

The VFU was recertified according to the international standard ISO 9001: 2008 and received recognition certificates from UKAS (Great Britain) and ANAB (USA).

It is the first university in Bulgaria to be certified with the DS Label, ECTS Label and HR by the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture to the European Commission.

education

The university offers face-to-face, distance and distance learning in all academic degrees (Bachelor, Master and Doctorate). Every year the VFU sets up scholarship programs and offers financial support, to which school graduates with excellent school-leaving certificates as well as children and athletes gifted in the field of theater and dance can apply.

campus

On campus there are a lecture hall and an administration building, training centers, the technological institute, the library, the Euroqualification center, the Russian center, the career center, the medical center with balneology, a restaurant, cafes, dormitories, parking lots and gardens. Part of the campus is also the university branch in the city of Smolyan. Every year 12,000 students are trained in 82 Bachelor and Master courses. 20 accredited doctoral programs are offered.
