The St. Cyril -and- St. Methodius -Universität in Veliko Tarnovo , Bulgaria ( Bulgarian Великотърновски университет "Св. Св. Кирил и Методий" ) is a September 15, 1963 as the College of Education founded University .
The first courses of study were Bulgarian Philology , Russian Philology , History and Art Education . Since then, the university has grown considerably and today offers more than sixty disciplines in eight faculties and has branches in Pleven and Wraza . It is the largest Bulgarian university outside of Sofia .
