history

The pleasure craft was designed by the New Zealand shipbuilder Steve Thompson, which also incorporated knowledge from the Americas Cup Team Le Defi / Team China.

The Longtze Premier is very fast for a keelboat and is driven with a mainsail , jib and gennaker . The team consists of three to five people and may not weigh more than 344 kilograms or fall below 314 kilograms during regattas.

The Longtze regattas are advertised online and take place in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France and Monaco.
