The Lord Glacier is a 10 km long glacier in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . It flows from the Coulter Heights to the Ruppert coast and flows into Hull Bay .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the glacier in 2003 after the US geophysicist Neal E. Lord of the University of Wisconsin , who has been studying the behavior of ice flows in West Antarctica since the late 1980s .
