Lorenz Reichel (* 19th century; † 1915?) From Arzberg in Northern Bavaria was a German entrepreneur in the porcelain industry .

Life

In 1901 Reichel ran a porcelain painting shop in Schirnding . In 1904, a porcelain factory emerged from this , which by 1906 had developed into a porcelain factory with six modern round ovens, electrical lighting and its own siding . In 1909 the company was converted into a stock corporation , the Schirnding AG porcelain factory . Reichel is mentioned in most chronicles as the originator of the porcelain industry in Schirnding. In fact, Christian Paul Aecker founded the "Aeckerische Porcellain- und Steinutfabrik" there in 1838.
