Lorenzo Ceresoli MCCJ (born May 18, 1931 in Nave , Province of Brescia , Italy ) is emeritus Vicar Apostolic of Awasa .

Life

Lorenzo Ceresoli joined the order of the Comboni Missionaries and was ordained a priest on April 2, 1960 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Titular Bishop of Fallaba and Vicar Apostolic of Awasa on December 20, 1993 . The Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Cardinal Jozef Tomko , ordained him episcopal on March 19, 1994 ; Co- consecrators were Vigilio Mario Olmi , auxiliary bishop in Brescia , and Armido Gasparini MCCJ, emeritus Vicar Apostolic of Awasa.

On March 21, 2009 Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.
