history

On March 1, 1930, the motor vehicle master Erwin Lorinser founded an independent car workshop in Waiblingen and later took over workshop and service services as the official "reseller for cars and commercial vehicles" of Daimler-Benz AG.

In 1974 Lorinser handed over the continuously growing company to his son Manfred and appointed him managing director.

In the 1976 new branch in Winnenden , in addition to the sale of cars and commercial vehicles, the vehicle tuning division “Sportservice Lorinser” was created. It was entered in the commercial register as an independent company in 1981 and today has authorized dealers in 42 countries. The sports service has its origin in the engine manufacture. This branch of business developed quickly, from the mid-1970s vehicles were equipped with optical add-on parts.

Marcus Lorinser has been at the helm of the company since 2006 and heads Sportservice Lorinser GmbH.
