Lorraine Burroughs
Lorraine Burroughs (* 1981 in Birmingham , England ) is a British actress .
Life
Born in 1981 in Birmingham, Lorraine Burroughs grew up in the Kings Heath district and attended the Bishop Challoner School. At the age of 14, she took up acting classes at Central Television Studios and took a serious look at acting. Burroughs received her acting training at the renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London . Her portrayal of Camae in the play The Mountaintop earned her a 2010 Laurence Olivier Award nomination . Her work in front of the camera is almost exclusively limited to television productions. In German-speaking countries, Lorraine Burroughs became known to a wider audience through her role as DS Winsome Jackman in the 2014 ZDF crime series Inspector Banks .
