Lothar Baeumler

Lothar Bäumler (born August 1, 1939 in Pressath ) is an Upper Palatinate entrepreneur who sat in the Bavarian Senate from 1998 to 2000 .

Life

After graduating from high school in Weiden in 1959 , he began studying at the University of Erlangen , which he completed in 1967 with a doctorate and in 1969 with the tax advisor exam. Subsequently, he was on the board of directors of the Erste Bayerische Basaltstein AG and was in charge of a number of companies that hired out in the stone trade .

Over time, Bäumler also took on a number of official tasks. He was from 1994 Vice President of the IHK Regensburg and commercial judge at the District Court of Weiden .

Today he is still honorary chairman of the Bavarian Stone and Earth Industry Association.

In 1988 he received the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class.
