Lothar Heyer is a former German ski jumper who started for SC Motor Zella-Mehlis. At the beginning of the 1960s, Heyer was a member of the GDR's national ski jumping team.

Career

Heyer made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament in 1960/61 . After finishing 26th on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf , he achieved his best individual result with 17th place at the New Year's event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . However, after he could not convince in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen with places 59 and 31, it was only enough to place 34 in the overall tournament ranking at the end of the tour. In his second and last Four Hills Tournament in 1961/62 , Heyer only started in the jumping competitions in Austria and ended up over the 60th place. He then finished the tour with only 340.0 points in 78th place overall.
