Lothar Krüger (born November 4, 1885 in Rudzinitz , † 1945 in Berlin ) was a German engineer and professor of building materials science at the State Materials Testing Office in Berlin-Dahlem .

Life

Born and raised in Upper Silesia, Lothar Krüger studied civil engineering at the Technical University of Charlottenburg and joined the Corps Saxonia-Berlin in the summer semester of 1906. After completing his studies as a graduate engineer, which he received around 1911, he became an employee of the State Materials Testing Office in Berlin-Dahlem. Here he worked in the Department of Construction at Heinrich Burchartz , was appointed to it in 1932 as the successor to the Board of the Department of Construction and Director of the State Materials Testing Office. Lothar Krüger died in Berlin during the last months of the Second World War . The exact date of death is not known.
