Lothar Löffler (born February 5, 1918 - December 20, 1995 ) was a Swiss entertainment pianist , composer and arranger .

Life

In his youth Löffler worked at Musik Hug in Basel .

Löffler played in various formations ( e.g. with Günter Lenz ) z. B. Tangos , waltzes , foxtrots . In the late 1930s he was among the Swing kiddies to René Bertschy .

He formed his own orchestra under the name Ambassador and founded the Löffler Grammo House in Basel .

In 1986 Löffler was “awarded a gold record for his complete works ”.
