Lothar Weise (politician)

Lothar Weise (born November 28, 1936 in Berlin ) is a German CDU politician .

After attending the practical branch of the secondary school in Spandau , Weise trained as a distiller. After he was acquitted by the Berlin Chamber of Crafts in 1955 , he practiced the profession he had learned for three years in his parents' company. After a few years as a traveler, he switched to the position of sales manager with power of attorney in his parents' business. In 1969 he began working as a self-employed insurance salesman and was under contract with Allianz . In 1972 he founded the Friends of the Wald-Oberschule , which he headed from 1980 to 1984 as chairman.

In 1984, Weise joined the CDU. Within the local town hall he held functions as assessor, treasurer and deputy chairman until the town hall and Lietzensee branches were merged in 1995 to form the new castle local branch. At the end of 1998 he took over the office of deputy chairman in the new local association, he was also a member of the district executive board and was a delegate of the district and state party conferences and a member of MIT in Berlin , where he also held various positions. From 1992 to 1995 he was a member of the district assembly in Charlottenburg , where he last served as deputy chairman of his parliamentary group. In 1995 he moved to the Berlin House of Representatives . In 1999 he was directly elected in the constituency of Charlottenburg 4. After the 2001 elections, he left parliament.
