Louis Bigot
Louis Jules Alfred Marc Bigot (born May 31, 1913 in Étaples , † March 13, 1996 in Bourgnac ) was a French chess player .
Bigot, a doctor by profession, appeared in chess in the 1940s. In 1943 he won the French championship and the French correspondence chess championship twice. At the ninth correspondence chess championship in 1942/43 he shared the title with Henri Pinson , and he won the eleventh championship in 1945/46 by one point. In 1946 and 1947 he played in friendship competitions against Switzerland and Czechoslovakia in the French team.
