Louis Cyr

Louis Cyr (* 1863 as Cyprien-Noé Cyr ; † 1912 in Saint-Cyprien-de-Napierville , Canada ) was a well-known French-Canadian strongman who saw his career in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

His extraordinary accomplishments included lifting 500  lbs (227 kg) with three fingers and carrying 4,337 lbs (1967 kg) on ​​his back. According to Ben Weider , former IFBB chairman , Cyr is the strongest man who has ever lived.
