Louis Dolivet
Louis Dolivet (birth name: Ludovic Brecher ; * 1908 ; † September 1989 in London ) was a French publicist , film critic and film producer .
Life
Dolivet, born Ludovic Brecher, who was married to the film actress Beatrice Straight until 1949 , began as a film producer or co-producer in the mid- 1950s and produced some films such as Mr Satan himself (1955) by Orson Welles , My Uncle (1958) by Jacques Tati and Hazardous Plaster (1960) by Marcel Carné .
He was also active as a film critic and publicist.
