Louis Galliac
Louis Galliac (born August 25, 1849 in Dijon , † 1934 ) was a French genre painter and orientalist painter.
Galliac studied at the École des beaux-arts de Paris with Alexandre Cabanel and privately with Adolphe Yvon and Léon Bonnat .
Louis Galliac dealt exclusively with genre and portrait painting. Some of his paintings showed the painter working with female models in his studio. Some of the works were dedicated to the oriental milieu.
From 1879 to 1923 he exhibited his works at the Salon de Paris and at the Salon of the Société des Artistes Français .
A street in Dijon was named after him.
