Louis Landi (born January 10, 1941 in Algiers , † June 8, 1977 ) was a French football player on the position of goalkeeper.

Club career

Landi played in the 1962/63 season for the first time in the premier league and came there on twelve missions. In his second season he was able to prevail as a regular goalkeeper. Apart from one season in Ligue 2 , Landi was consistently represented in the first division with Nîmes. 1976 Landi left Nîmes after a total of 403 league appearances (including 372 first division games). He signed with third division PSC Montpellier . After an accident on June 5, 1977, Landi died three days later of its consequences.

National team

In 1964, Landi came against Scotland for his first and only appearance for the French U-23 national team. He played twice for the French B selection. In 1966 he was on the bench in an A international match between the French and Hungary , but was not used.
