Louise Hövermann (born November 11, 1898 in Hamburg ; † September 15, 1979 there ) was a German SPD politician and former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Act

Louise, called Lizzy, completed a commercial apprenticeship in Hamburg. With the exception of two years, she remained employed until 1959. Most recently she worked for 27 years as an insurance specialist at the Hamburg employment office.

In 1927 she joined the SPD and worked in various party functions until old age. From 1958 to 1970 she was a member of the executive district executive of the SPD Hamburg-Nord as a district woman , and from 1958 to 1964 with the then district chairman Helmut Schmidt . From 1961 to 1970 she was a member of the Hamburg Parliament.
