Louise Kellberg
Louise Kellberg , married Louise Schmidt ( 1826 in Riga - March 15, 1917 in Dresden ) was a German opera singer ( soprano ).
Life
She sang in Riga as early as 1843 and was then trained by Mlle. Conradi. Her actual debut was in 1847 at the Riga Opera House. From 1848 to 1850 she was engaged at the Royal Court Opera in Berlin.
From 1850 to 1851 she worked again at the theater in Riga and then in Rostock. In 1851 she joined the Association of German Theater in Prague.
Here she married the singer Bernhard Schmidt in 1853 and left Prague in the same year and sang at the theaters of Cologne, Braunschweig and Danzig. From 1859 to 1865 she worked with her husband at the Weimar Court Theater.
Their daughter was Marie Basta .
