Louise Schofield
Louise Schofield (* 20th century) is a British classical archaeologist and mycenaeologist .
Schofield was the British Museum's curator for the Bronze Age and Geometric Period in Ancient Greece for thirteen years . Schofield mainly works on the Minoan and Mycenaean cultures and has also worked on archaeological projects in Rhodes , Corfu and Turkey . She has led an excavation on the Gheralta Plateau in northern Ethiopia that has discovered an ancient Sabaean gold mine.
