Louisiana Blues

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Louisiana Blues is a style of blues that was initially similar to the Chicago blues . It is characterized by slow rhythms and a relaxed playing style, which result in a dense, dark sound. From this style the Swamp Blues developed around Baton Rouge , in which these elements come to light even more strongly. In the Arcadian region, this resulted in Cajun Blues and Zydeco .
