Louisy Joseph (born April 14, 1978 in Lyon ; real name Lydy Charlotte Louisy-Joseph ) is a French pop singer .

She became known as a member of the band L5 , who won the first season of the French casting show Popstars in 2001 .

After the split in 2007, she was the first to start a solo career. She signed with the label Athlético records of Pascal Obispo and benefited from the established songwriters of the publisher. As a stage name she consciously chose her double surname to differentiate herself from her time as Lydy in the girl group L5. In April 2008 her first solo album La Saison des amours was released , which reached 25th place as the highest position. Much more successful was her first single, Assis par terre , which entered the charts at position 3 at the end of May.

In 2014 she took part in the fifth season of the French dance show Danse avec les stars .
