LoveWave ( German : Liebeswelle ) is a song by the Armenian singer Iveta Mukuchyan , with whom she represented Armenia at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest .
Background and publication
On October 13, 2015 it was reported that the singer Iveta Mukuchyan Armenia at the Euro Vision Song Contest in Sweden Stockholm will present and submit songs for the singer that composers from around the world. On December 31, 2015, an interview with Mukuchyan was uploaded to the official YouTube channel of Eurovision, in which she said that they had received songs from Canada , the USA , Sweden, Armenia, Germany and many other countries. In the video, she also said that she picked the song that touched her the most.
On February 19, 2016, the title of the song was finally announced. It was also reported that the song was written and composed by Stephanie Crutchfield, Lilith Nawasardjan and Lewon Nawasardjan. On March 2, 2016, the song including the official music video was finally released.
Music video
The official music video for LoveWave was shot in Germany and Armenia. Only the singer herself and the Swedish model Ben Dahlhaus, who lives and works in Germany, appear in it. Like the song, the video was published on March 2, 2016 on the official YouTube channel of the Eurovision Song Contest. It has over 7.8 million views (as of April 28, 2017).
