The Lovejoy Glacier is a wide glacier in the Usarp Mountains of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows in an easterly direction between the Anderson Pyramid and the Sample Nunatakkern to the Rennick Glacier . In the lower section it runs parallel to the Harlin Glacier without any dividing ridge .
The area was mapped from the United States Geological Survey and aerial photographs from the United States Navy from 1960 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the glacier in 1964 after Lieutenant Owen B. Lovejoy of the US Navy, pilot of an R4D of the VX-6 squadron in Antarctica from 1962 to 1963 and from 1963 to 1964.
