Lu Lan ( Chinese  卢兰 , Pinyin Lú Lán ; born May 2, 1987 in Changzhou , People's Republic of China ) is a Chinese badminton player .

Her first international success came in 2004 at the Polish Open . In 2006 she won the significantly higher rated Korea Open and finished the year in 6th position in the BWF world rankings. A year later she reached several finals, for example at the Indonesia Open , Swiss Open and the Korea Open. At the Asian Championships in 2007 she was also second. At the 2007 World Cup she was in the semi-finals. In the quarterfinals she eliminated the last German starter Xu Huaiwen in three sets.
