Luc Frank

Luc Frank (born April 29, 1972 in Moresnet ) is a Belgian politician and president of the German-speaking Christian Social Party (CSP). Since 2009 he has been a member of the Parliament of the German-speaking Community.

Life

Frank studied law at the Catholic University of New Leuven ( UCL ) and completed his studies with a license in notary's office.

In 1991, Frank joined the CSP. From 1995 to 1998 he was assistant to MEP Mathieu Grosch (CSP) in the European Parliament. He has been a councilor since January 2001 and, from 2006 to 2012, first aldermen of the Kelmis municipality , responsible for youth, sport, the environment, external relations and communication.

In April 2008 Frank became an advisor to State Secretary Melchior Wathelet ( cdH ) on matters relating to East Belgium. It has been meeting in the Parliament of the German-speaking Community since October 2009.

Since 2009 he has been President of the Christian Social Party (CSP). After the local elections on October 14, 2018, the new majority from the SP and CSP agreed to elect Frank as mayor of Kelmis .

Frank is in a relationship and has one child.
