Luc Plamondon
Luc Plamondon (born March 2, 1942 in Saint-Raymond ) is a Canadian songwriter.
Life
Plamondon has written pieces for numerous singers, including the Canadians Bruno Pelletier , Robert Charlebois , Celine Dion and the French Julien Clerc and Johnny Hallyday . He is also co-author of several musicals. The two most successful are the rock operas Starmania and Notre Dame de Paris . Plamondon lives in Montreux in Switzerland.

- 1997: Genie Award for the best original song
- 1999: Induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame
- 1963, 2004 and 2005: Nominations for the Genie Award
