Saint-Raymond is a city ( ville ) in the MRC Portneuf of the Canadian province of Québec .
Saint-Raymond is located approx. 50 km northwest of the provincial capital Québec on the banks of the Rivière Sainte-Anne .
history
The first attempts at permanent settlement date from 1845. The younger settlements since the 1960s and the settlement of small industrial and commercial enterprises since the middle of the 20th century had a strong influence on the population. Saint-Raymond has had city rights since 1957.
