Lucas dos Santos Rocha da Silva , known as Lucas (born July 14, 1991 in São Paulo , Brazil ), is a Brazilian soccer player who is primarily used as a central defender .

Career

Lucas moved to Leverkusen from the Brazilian second division club Associação Portuguesa de Desportos at the beginning of 2010 , but remained on loan from his old club. In January 2011, the 1.94 meter tall central defender was awarded to 1. FC Kaiserslautern for a year and a half. The contract included a purchase option. During this time, however, Lucas could not prevail. He was never used and was only part of the squad once. After his return to Bayer 04 in summer 2012, he moved to Hungarian second division club Vasas Budapest in mid-July 2012 on a free transfer . There he made his debut in professional football on September 2, 2012, when he was in the starting line-up and played through on the 3rd matchday of the 2012/13 season in the home game against Ferencváros Budapest II (1-0). In the 2013 season he moved to Kaposvári RFC. He has been playing for Boavista Porto since 2014, where he is currently a regular in the Portuguese first division.
