Lucian Kieser

Lucian Kieser (born February 19, 1979 in Timișoara , Romania ) is a former German basketball player . The 2.03 meter tall indoor player was among others in the service of the Bundesliga clubs SV Oberelchingen and MTV Gießen .

career

Born in Romania  , Kieser, who initially played for Lotus Munich and in the reserve of Brandt Hagen , made his debut in the basketball Bundesliga in the 1998/99 season in the shirt of SV Oberelchingen . During the season he switched to TV Lich and achieved promotion to the Bundesliga with the second division team. He then played at MTV Giessen. Until 2002 he played a total of 32 Bundesliga games. While he was in the service of Giessen, Kieser was also used with a second game right at TV Lich in the 2nd basketball league  , from 2003 he was then exclusively active for Lich and was the team's top performer.

In 2004 Kieser moved to TSV Crailsheim within the 2nd Bundesliga . Following the 2004/05 season, he was named the best German player of the year by the internet basketball service eurobasket.com.

In 2007 he left Crailsheim and moved to the Spanish second division club Farho Gijón, during the 2007/08 season he was passed on to the fourth division club Bahia de Mazarron.

After his return to Germany, Kieser was in the service of the university giants Leipzig in the regional league in 2008/09 and then again for Crailsheim from 2009 to December 2011, now in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA .
