Luciano Sacripanti

Luciano Sacripanti (* 1930 in Rome ) is an Italian assistant director .

Sacripanti, who was born into the world of acting and film as the son of character actor Umberto Sacripante (his brother, Mauro, also worked as a production manager for the cinema), has been working as an assistant director since 1953. Under the name Luciano Lelli he wrote and directed two less noteworthy genre films in 1967 and 1968; In 1972 he directed the Richard Burton vehicle Bluebeard under the overall direction of Edward Dmytryk . Four years later he was the second staff member of Sergio Sollima's extensive film adaptation of The Black Corsair .
