Lucie Balandis

Lucie Balandis (born October 30, 1981 in Bochum ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Balandis played with VfL Bochum in the first women's basketball league from the 1996/97 season . In 1996, the 1.88 meter indoor player was a member of the German U16 national team. In the 2000/01 game year she was relegated to Bochum from the top German division. She played for VfL for a total of 14 years. In the 2006/07 season she was promoted to the first division with the Herner TC . She was captain of the runner-up squad. Balandis remained a HTC player in the Bundesliga.

The 2009/10 season was her last with the Bundesliga team, after which Balandis, who worked as a police officer, retired to the Bochum AstroStars in the regional league.
