Jakub Zemaník (born June 21, 1995 ) is a Czech long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Jakub Zemaník gained his first international experience in 2014, when he reached 22nd place in the 10,000 meter run at the Junior World Championships in Eugene in 31: 06.76 min. In 2017 he took part in the 3000 meter run at the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade , but did not reach the final with 8: 14.50 minutes. At the European Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2018 , he did not finish over 10,000 meters and the following year he finished seventh in the 5000 meter run at the Summer Universiade in Naples in 14:20, 41 minutes . At the European Cross Country Championships in Lisbon in 2019 , he finished 62nd after 32:58 minutes.

In 2015 Zemaník became Czech indoor champion in the 3000 meter run.
