Lucien Duquesne

Lucien Duquesne ( Eléonor Lucien Ernest Duquesne; born October 17, 1900 in Maromme ; † May 7, 1991 ) was a French long-distance and obstacle runner .

At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 he finished fourth with the French team in the team competition over 3000 m . Over 5000 m and 10,000 m he was eliminated in the preliminary run.

In 1924 he came again with the French team to fourth place in the team competition over 3000 m at the Olympic Games in Paris . Over 5000 m he did not get beyond the first lap again.

At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928, he was sixth over 3000 m obstacle and failed over 5000 m in the run.

He was twice French champion over 3000 m (1923, 1924) as well as 5000 m (1923, 1928) and once over 3000 m obstacle (1926).
