biography

Lucien Martinet, who had become European champion in double sculls in 1898 , competed at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris with René Waleff in double sculls with helmsman . The two took second place, who was the helmsman is unknown. The two rowers from the Société Nautique de la Marne were also part of the French boat in the eighth position , but were eliminated in the preliminary run. A few weeks later, also in Paris, the two became European champions in two with a helmsman. Here, too, the helmsman is not known.
