Lucinda Whitty (born November 9, 1989 in Sydney ) is a former Australian sailor .
successes
Lucinda Whitty took part in the 2012 Olympic Games in London with Nina Curtis as a crew member of the helmsman Olivia Price in the boat class Elliott 6m . In the regatta held in the Match Race , the Australian boat qualified first in the group stage for the quarter-finals. After victories against the Dutch and Finnish boats, the Australians lost to the Spaniards in the final duel for the gold medal, so they won the silver medal. She then switched to the Nacra 17 boat class , in which she was active until 2016.
