Lucius Cornelius Lentulus Niger
Lucius Cornelius Lentulus Niger († 56 BC ) was a Roman senator and politician.
Lucius Cornelius Lentulus Niger belonged to the Lentuli branch of the Cornelier family . Probably before 69 BC. He became a Flamen Martialis ( Mars priest) and remained in this priesthood until his death. No later than 61 BC Niger must have been a praetor because he turned 58 BC. Applied unsuccessfully for the consulate . In 56 BC Niger became judge in the trial against Publius Sestius . He died that same year.
