Lucius Statius quadratus

Lucius Statius Quadratus was a Roman politician and senator in the mid-2nd century.

Quadratus came from Athens , where his family was a citizen. In 142 he became a full consul . This is through two military diplomas , e.g. Some are dated January 15, 142, documented; he exercised the office together with Lucius Cuspius Pactumeius Rufinus . Between 155 and 157, Quadratus was the proconsul of Asia , where he led the martyrdom of St. Polycarp .
