As the city praetor he was on the side of Cicero in the conspiracy of Catiline . 62 BC He was the governor of Asia as Proprätor, 60 BC. One of three envoys to Gallic tribes. 59 BC He was charged with blackmail, but successfully defended by Cicero in a speech. Flaccus was 57/56 BC Chr.
